In our third CCU game this season, SFEFC started off strong again, leading at the half 15 to 11. But as in the past two games, the second half it became increasingly hard to keep up the pace and PCC ended up pulling ahead to win 35-28. I have to say though, this year our SFEFC team has matured a lot. Every game they pour out their heart and I never see them give up. They seem to have much calmer heads when they play and I'm proud of them.
High scorer for this game was Kevin Bowman, going to the line four times and making 6 free throws. He also scored a basket for a total of 8 points. He continued to be a defensive force as well with 5 steals and another blocked shot. Avery Kwan had a good scoring game with 3 buckets. Defensively Avery played hard with 3 rebounds and 2 steals.
Tony Wong contributed 3 free throws and a bucket for 5 points. Jonathan Ching had a great overall game with 4 points, 3 rebounds, 2 steals and an assist.
We had an enthusiastic cheering squad this week with Natalie Kwong and Amy He returning from college. We need more support! Come and cheer this team on!
