[CCU BASKETBALL] Ending on a High Note

We had the last game of the regular season this week and it was good to end with a win. They started out a bit slow but eventually got some momentum and led the whole game. The Cumberland team from Chinatown definitely never gave up and they came close a number of times, but our guys held the line and came out with a 41 to 32 win! They end the season with a respectable 4-3 record.

Jason Liao was high scorer with 10 points (5 rebounds, 1 blocked shot and 1 assist). Yulin Deng had a good game with 8 points (2 free throws, 1 rebound). Jonathan Ching was all over the court playing good defense and offense with 7 points (2 rebounds, 3 steals, one for a layup, 1 free throw). Tony Wong had a solid game with an AND 1, totaling 6 points (2 steals, 2 rebounds and 1 free throw). Jacky Guan (1 rebound, 1 steal), Kevin Chow (4 rebounds, 1 assist), Jason Chen (1 assist), David Dong, and Emmu Zhou (2 rebounds, 2 assists) all had two points. Rounding out the defense, Brian Regis had one rebound, Tao Huang had one assist and Calvin Ho had 2 rebounds, 2 steals and 1 assist.

It was a lot of fun to watch our guys compete. Thanks to Terence Ng for his first year coaching and doing a great job! Thanks too for Jimmy Chan with the assist :) Thanks to everyone who came and cheered the team on! See you next summer!
